The Dark Side
I rotated the image and in doing so came upon the fact that when moved this way it reminds me of a gas mask or Darth Vader's mask...kinda prefer it this was now to how it was originally. I've never been able to be at Cloud Gate when it's light out and still have my camera so I can get shoots from beneth like I did...I love the effect you can get...different every time. It's as if the people become part of the art in the sculpture from underneath...they make it better looking :)
It's also like those "Where's Waldo" books...not very hard in this one, but still neat to try and find yourself.

Milwaukee Art Museum
Summer 2007.
May 4, 2001, marked the initial unveiling of the Milwaukee Art Museum's new expansion and renovation which combines art, dramatic architecture and landscape design. Our new Quadracci Pavilion, the first Santiago Calatrava-designed building in the United States, features a 90-foot high glass-walled reception hall enclosed by the Burke Brise Soleil, a sunscreen that can be raised or lowered creating a unique moving sculpture.

The Last of the Spartans
From the Milwaukee Art Museum. Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Summer 2007.
If you live in the IL, WI, MN area or are ever in Milwaukee on a trip I recommend spending the day at the art museum. The blending of art pieces housed in a body that itself can be called art is something awesome to experience.
